Sister's

Sister's

This picture was taken in 1927 in a studio in London.
The picture is of two sisters, the younger one is was my mother -in-law and the older one her sister who as just had her 90th birthday. I had to repair this picture as it had some serious damage and when I printed it it came back to life. The emotion that this created was unbelievable. The dresses were made by a neighbour who knitted both of them to suit. This was taken at near the end of the 1st recession.

Sister's belongs to the following groups:

! Inspired Art !, Artists of Norfolk & Suffolk, AW Welcome Center, Bits and Pieces , Everyday Life, JPG Cast-Offs, Special Moments and Street Photography and Photojournalism

Many thanks Robin, this picture is quiet old and I spent some hours repairing this, it had some bad damage.it was a labour of Love,it had to be done in memory of them both, they were great mothers and wonderful people in their own right.

My word is Emotion of the moment. Two exceptional women of the time, they both achieved so much during their lifes. Many thanks for the featured time.
