A chance meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Prague (Czech Republic) in 2006. Mr Blair was attending a meeting of European Socialist leaders in the Czech capital and took time out to shake hands with some of the locals. I was in between attending more important meetings, involving Europe’s finest beers. This was his reaction to my ’G’day from Australia’ (in my best ocker accent) greetings.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic. Date: 10 March 2006
Great smile :) Maybe they had just beat us at cricket or something.
Ha, thanks Murray! I reckon that you’re spot on the money there too. What was I thinking extending cordial Australian greetings to old Tony? That terrible loss in The Ashes series was only six months earlier…
Awesome capture! You got really close to one of our elderly statesmen. I’ve never even seen him in the flesh before and you actually meet him in Prague. LOL> Great work my friend.

That is one genuine smile you have captured there! Did you invite him for a beer?!
Hehe, thanks Vicki! Nah, no invite for beers for Tony. I think I had a date with a lovely girl from Kazakhstan that night. Sorry Tony, busy mate.
