It has been a week of wild weather here on the Gold Coast. The coastline has been hammered by some spectacularly large seas, strong winds and heavy rain.

Wow! and love the POV! (How did you not get your camera wet?!!) (Terrific(?) weather and I hear that Grafton is going to float away….) Love the way you have captured the waves, the sky and the breaking surf and the rocks all in one shot! Fairly amazing when you look at it! Fave!
Thanks Vicky. It has certainly been a week of wild weather! I took quite a few shots this week, but feel I still have much more learning to do with my ocean photography – just not getting the shots that I can picture in my head. More practice tomorrow (big seas and strong winds are forecast!).
Good luck Mary Poppins!! Fly safe!! (better attach that camera strap then, don’t want to drop the appendage that seems to be permanently attached to our hands!!) :))
Such energy..I really feel the surge of the ocean coming towards me here!!It is exhillerating..Wow!!! Yet another very dynamic and powerful image from you! A
G’day Amanda. Yes, there was much energy and power in the ocean. The surge of the ocean was absolutely mesmerising :-)
