After driving 3800km in my old Toyota Landcruiser this week (from Uluru to Tweed Heads via half of Australia), I was really hanging to enjoy a paddle in my kayak upon arriving back at the water today… But Mother Nature had other ideas. I was greeted ‘home’ this afternoon with this spectacular storm.

The Storm Chasing Nerd… looking a little tired after one last farewell in the desert and a long drive back to the east coast (again!):
Welcome home mate :) Send some of those rain bearing systems down here please. We are as dry as current records can show. It has forgotten how to rain . Nice shot too mate, I love a good storm and turbulent sky.
