When I look at this amazing photograph. I can almost feel the ground beneath my feet, smell the air, hear the sounds. What sounds would they be Mr. Lusk? Quiet? Wind? Highway? Animals? Wow! I LOVE this Photo!!!!!!!!!
Hehehe. Unfortunately I was driving a busfull of tourists at that time, so I could hear the sounds of about 25 other people attempting to capture the same image as me! Other than that, it was quiet and the air was cool with a nice hint of morning desert freshness. Always a spectacular time of day in the desert – with or without 25 new friends :-)
Great shot Keiran! Just reading your previous comment…you’ve been living in the outback for nearly 8 years now?? Heard there’s plenty of opportunities for a great shot in the Outback…your gallery is filled with great shots of ’em!
Thank-you very much Keegan. Yes, there are some wonderful opportunites for ‘outback’ photos here. But living here, I sometimes don’t realise until I literally trip over those opportunites.
It is refreshing to see something other than the cliched sunset/sunrise shot. Great work.
Hehe, thanks William. This is one of my favourite views (not to mention, a fantastic time of the day) at Uluru. So I am pleased that you like this image. Cheers :-)

Wow, this is stunning! What a wonderful shot – very unique from what we usually see of it. Very nicely done.
Thanks Elaine. I never tire of gazing at the pre-dawn silhouette of Uluru. It is a beautiful time of day in the desert.
