,,,,something about that grass is sharp and wispy like lightning and makes me feel like i’m there, hearing the thunder rumbling over the hills ;-)

  • Keiran Lusk replied

Hehe, oh I know that feeling Laurette, believe me. I have enjoyed digging this image up today. For it also makes me feel like I’m there (again)... I can almost hear the collective silence of the surrounding landscape as the booming rumble of thunder heralds the storm’s approach. Such an electrifying atmosphere. And there is something about that grass too. Thanks Laurette ;-)

I don’t know how or why but I can smell this! The freshness in the air, I can’t really explain it – it reminds me of central NSW here too. A very peaceful feeling….. thanks for sharing Keiran.

  • Keiran Lusk replied

Ha, I was actually thinking the same thing when I replied to Laurette’s comments above. I can smell this too. But is is more than just a freshness in the air… it is the smell of anticipation of the approaching storm, the smell of the sun baking the desert landscape… I can’t quite put it into words, but I think you get it :-)
