Dancing in the Dust

[This image is not for sale or reproduction]

One of the most special memories I carry from my time so far in Central Australia was my time working for Desert Tracks (an Anangu owned tour company). We conducted camping trips into the AP Lands of South Australia for school groups. Along the way, we would stay at various campsites and meet with Anangu staff and their families. I was honoured to be part of such an incredible cultural learning experience.

In this capture, the students were learning and participating in the Ngintaka Tjukurpa (the law and songline of the Perentie Lizard man). It was an amazing afternoon in the desert.

I am fortunate enough to have captured hundreds of amazing images from my adventures in the AP Lands. But as these images were captured in the capacity of trusted friend, I do not wish to offer these particular images for sale.
