Lovely walk-about….Monet. Could you smell the rain coming? Did you get wet that day? A good rain can heal the soul.
Keiran Lusk replied
Thanks Serendipity2lip for your kind words. Yes, I did get wet that day. The rain and winds blasted me all the way home. It was exhilarating.
Serendipity2lip
In fact, it’s raining here now….loons are singing on the lake (you have a desert for a backyard, I have a lake), I think I’ll pop outside for some healing…..then off to bed it is very late! Again, thank you for the picturesque view…...the trees are waiting to greet you.

Some Dessert! this is so beautiful and my expectation walking down the road would be to wonder what is just at the end of the curve?
Keiran Lusk replied
At the end of the curve? Left takes you back towards the little staff caravan park, right takes you out past the airport road (and then hundreds of miles of ‘nothingness’ beyond that)... and straight leads you back into sand dune country and (eventually) a salt lake. It is a beautiful landscape.
Jess Rodda
Great colours! I like the look of the trees.
Keiran Lusk replied
Thanks Jess! The trees are called kurkara (desert oak). These are my favourite desert trees.
