My name is Keeton Gale. I am an amateur photographer. I am a photographer that has been though a lot, because at the age of three I had a head injury. It happened on the date of September 28,1986 at the Kingdome in Seattle, Washington. My dad had decided to take me to see the Seattle Mariners play the Cleveland Indians, As a little boy in Seattle I played ball in the backyard and sometimes I hit the ball across the street, On our way to our seats that night I lost my balance and fell under the railing of the stairway. Dad heard me cry and then he was screaming and yelling for help. I was rushed to the hospital so they could put my skull back together for I had fallen 23 feet head first on pavement. The doctors told my parents that I would not be able to talk or walk again, that I would be like a vegetable. I was in a coma for about nine months. When I woke I started therapy, I was also given braces for my feet. I have done therapy for many years and have gone through plenty of braces.
I am now 24 and I graduated from McNary High school with a certificate of attainment in the class of 2002. When I was in school I took art and business classes. I am now working at the Union Gospel Mission as a volunteer. I go though the clothes that are donated and put them on racks so they can price them to sale. I also go once a month to work with the people of the Mission to stuff envelopes. I help the Mission with what they know I am best at doing. On days that I don’t volunteer I love to go to parks and take photos of the birds that are around the pond. I also am the family photographer for the sports events that my siblings are involved.
I believe that God has plans for me.
