I’ve been wondering the same but since I’ve only had about two features I didn’t worry about it too much. Ha! Anyway, you expressed yourself quite lovely and I think it’s just great you were on the home page – well deserved!

you know..i think its A ok to pass on your happiness and feeling of accomplishment. I see no problem with saying..hey i Sold, hey im featured!!! it is an accomplishment when you’re in a site that is So large with other works!
i think those who have a problem with it, usually are the ones wishing they were there also. instead of chastising another for saying something, maybe they should work on what it takes to get there…crazy concept i know :)

I think it is great to know when someone on my watchlist is featured and especially if they make the homepage! Congratultions! I just keep an updated Featured Work post on my profile but it doesnt let people know unless they go there to look, haha. That is my compromise between informing and bragging… I understand your dilema, but from a watcher’s point of view I like to know. :)

I don’t think it is bragging at all. I personally don’t do it ALL the time because frankly I just don’t feel like doing it. BUT I like to know what is going on with my friends and fellow Bubbler’s

I will say I do know people that re-do the promotion and stuff. I do know people that send out e-mails and journals about challenges (or used to) that they are in etc…

I have since deleted some of those people off my watch as I didn’t feel like those were people to validate (meaning I felt they were too competitive).

I LIKE to look at other people’s work and encourage them. That is why I enjoy know what other people have been up to and their success! :)
