My watch reads 11.15pm. It had to be at least 15C. Wind was chilly but invigorating. I glanced up at the sky and just went “whoa”. To be honest, I have never seen a clearer sky in my life. It was sheer luck that the sky was clear and the stars were just glowing. So while I dropped crabbing nets down at the jetty with relatives, I took a ~529 second bulb-remote exposure of the sky. This one turned out sexy ;)

You could see the earth’s rotation in approx 8 minute timeframe.

Shot near Apollo Quay, Mandurah.
