I would like to introduce you to Amy Farrell…a beautiful person, a kind hearted woman…and a soul so pure, that God himself had to have taken extra special time to create her.
There are so many amazing people out there deserving of recognition…but right now I choose Amy Farrell. You don’t know Amy Farrell, but if you did…you would never forget her!
Amy is a shining star…it doesn’t matter if you have known her your entire life, or for 5 minutes…because no matter the length of time you have known her…she has the ability to wrap herself around your heart…and leave you feeling enough love, warmth, and compassion to last you an entire life time!
Amy was born and raised here in our small town in North Idaho. And later moved to Los Angelos, California to pursue her dream in singing and acting. Amy has the voice of a true angel…and I am not just saying that…her voice is so amazing that your hearts would melt just by the rythem that explodes from her heart. She truly leaves a forever lasting impression…not only by her beautiful voice, but by her amazing soul!

Today on December 6th, 2008…I attented Amy’s celebration of life. She passed at the age of 21 years.
Amy…you have inspired so many people in your life, and although it was God’s will for you to return to the heavens above, I believe it was because your job here on earth was done in God’s eyes.
You have changed so many lives by the gift of your love, and moved so many people from the beautiful smile on your face…and you have inspired me more than you know!
In Loving Remembrance
Amy Elizabeth Farrell
October 28, 1987 ~ November 29, 2008

I would like to share with my redbubble friends a beautiful poem read during Amy’s Celebration of Life. It touched me and so many people…and really helped me in so many ways…not only how precious life is…but the life we share with our family and friends.
The Dash
copyright 1996 Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning…to the end.
He noted that first came the date of her birth
and spoke of the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on earth…
and now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own;
the cars….the house…the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
and how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard…
are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
to consider what’s true and real,
and always try to understand
the way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger,
and show appreciation more
and love the people in our lives
like we’ve never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect,
and more often wear a smile…
remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.
So, when your eulogy is being read
with your life’s actions to rehash…
would you be proud of the things they
say about how you spend your dash?
Again Amy…thank you for your forever inspiration!

OH dear….I was smiling broadly and thinking how much better the world is for special souls like Amy, and then I read of her passing and I found tears of regret and sadness flowingdown my face. Regret because her time was so short, regret for all those who did not KNOW her or be touched by her, and regret because we all have such a short time here on this planet to leave our mark and make it a better place…. to grow and learn and play and touch this world in whatever way we can. She obviously lived her life to the fullest and left each place she touched more illuminated than how she found it…..
I feel the void of grief that is left behind for you and all who loved her, but the light will return even brighter in her honour because you may have lost a beloved friend, but you have gained an incredible angel…...

Kellie, I am so sorry to hear about your friend..she was so incredibly beautiful on the outside and apparently on the inside as well.
On November 28, 2008 my sister was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a very rare cancer of the bile duct. The odds of survival are extremely low. My heart goes out to you for your loss.
Shanna S.
Wow, I am so sorry to hear about this. She was such a beautiful woman and the way you speak about her it apparently was not only on the outside. It’s crazy to think she was only a year older than I. My prayers are with you and all that knew her. I lost my 3 year old niece in 2007 so I can relate to the pain of losing such an amazing soul and being. Hang in there and thank you for sharing this because it has a really good message that everyone should hear. : )

Thank you so much for this wonderful tribute, you can can see the love and happiness radiating from Amy. How lucky were you to have shared her life and her also to have you. I can relate so well, as our son Adam passed away 11years ago, at 27yrs and he loved to help others so much and loved to sing, it seems that God needs them more than us, and they are so happy. I truly believe they are now with God and doing even more wonderful work, to still show us so much love and help, so, we are doubly blessed. xxxooo

She seems amazing and you must of been an amazing friend of hers. I appreciate you sharing Amy’s celebration of life with me. She was very beautiful and very young, but God must’ve spent a little more time on her, he broke the mould.
How did she pass, hoping you’ll continue to treasure the memories, many hugs
