I remember this well, amazing detail….outstanding piece of work Kellie!!

I absolutely love this image!!! – it is so close to home for me – you see growing up, my father was a coal miner by night and his hands were always ingrained with coal dust no matter how many times he washed them. He also had his own rose growing business during the day and there were so many times he would walk into the kitchen carrying a rose he was so proud of thank you for the memory.

What can I add to all the other comments.. not much, but I was drawn to this image immediately. wonderful light and texture and the contrast between the soft flower and the rough old hands is striking. The way the hands hold the flower with such care and tenderness is captured brilliantly. A fav for me.
