Love this image. As you said, sometimes the artwork that do not make sense to you is the most amazing for others. I like the fact that you intentionally “destroyed” the image and created even a more compelling image. The eye as the focal point, the wet look and the presentation and comp are excellent. Hi thank you for that, LOL!! Actually it’s not a plug-in or a filter…it is a texture that I downloaded from a free website.

It’s called textureking.com, and you can download them for free. If I remember correctly, I think it was a grayish wall with scrapes all over it, I converted it to black and white and than layered over my photo…and than just erased most from my face.

Thank you German. I found the scratches through textureking.com, this site offers free textures and I used it as a layer. Pretty soon here (when it warms up), I will be photographing my own textures to use…but in the mean time this site came in handy for a spur of the moment idea. :)
