Oh my! The tones in this are amazing and the simpelisity of your framing and what you’ve allowed into this photo is awesome. The title is perfect and the mathemetitions will be drooling over your use of thirds in this frame. It;s hard to expose for snow but you just nailed this one! Such a great shot!...

That is indeed plenty of the white stuff…I spent the last four years travelling and working in the Northern Hemisphere and my first attempt at skiing cost me two broken fingers so I decided that South Africans were definitely not designed for snow :D

Another beautiful artwork, Kellie. Love the multiple contrasts… the whiteness of the snow to the darkness of the sky, the softness of the snow to the sharp edges of the evergreen.

Is this a composite? I ask because it looks like the light fall on the snow as opposed to the sky look different, and the dark black line between the top of the snow bumps and the lower sky look blended… I’d need a bigger photo to be able to tell for sure. If it is a composite, then you’ve done a great job with it, as I seem to be the only one to have noticed this so far!

You are quite the creative gal!

Thx grouchy! Yes it is a composite, in fact the sky is only 5 minutes apart from the tree and snow…workin’ hard to try and make my composites look more believable so always appreciate it when someone asks…that means I need to work harder to make it more believable, hehe!

Remember what I told you a while back… that little thing about artists always seeing how they could have made an artwork better… see, told you!
