Artist's Description

They were actually doing a dance, banging the ends of their sticks on the ground.
These dancers are the Shakespeare Morris Men from Warwickshire, dancing in Dawlish, Devon, on the 319th meeting of the Morris Ring.

The dancer in the foreground in the pic below, is one of the Mendip Morris Men from Somerset.
The man in the Red Waistcoat is Brian Tasker, the Squire of the Morris Ring, the chief Morris Man in the World.

Thank you for looking.
Hope you like it.
