Taken on a misty morning in Dawlish, Devon, with a little bit of sunlight showing through the mist.
The Seagulls are taking flight off the main breakwater out into the English Channel.
Hope you like it.
Thank you for looking.

Is this a new one Richard ,? I don’t remember seing it before . What did you do to get them to fly throw stones in the air . ? Great capture .
This is been on before Irene, but I have darkened it a bit more. To get them to fly, I just walked down the breakwater. Lucky I didnt fall in, as I kept looking through the view finder.

A ripper.
Thanks mate. I did have this on before, but I have darkened it up a bit. I think it looks better. Think you do too. :-))

oh wow this looks great, i don’t remember seeing it before, but i like the dark water and the way the birds are silhouetted against the sun’s reflection on the water
Thanks Aroha.
It was a bit grey before, so I tweaked the darkness and contrast a bit. Glad you like it.
Richard.

I love the way the sun isn’t actually visible; but it’s reflection almost goes right the way up to the vanishing point. A great shot Richard
Thanks mate. Much appreciated, as always.

That’s a nice shot too – lots of atmosphere again. The B&W treatment really works.
