Victorian Lights
Taken in the Victorian Village at Flambards near Helston, on the Lizard Peninsula.
Converted to Sepia, which really suited the picture and era.
I particularly like the Kodak sign.
For those of you who know the area, and if you should be visiting the area, they now allow photography in the Victorian Village but without flash, and for the techies out there, although I converted this to Sepia, when shot, I changed the white balance to Tungsten, and upped the ISO to 1600.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.

I will put it with the others…. Tony H has challenged me to a longer story which I am working on. I thought of the last one I wrote when I saw your Church windows image, it would have worked well with that story too… thanks for your encouragement… I really do appreciate it xx
Richard Veal replied
Always a pleasure Sue. xx

The last time I was there I was driving a coach full of daytrippers who were a bit less than happy about the photography restrictions, good to know they have woken up to visitor’s wishes at last.
I really like the aged mood and appearance that you have depicted in this delightful image Richard, very well done and thanks for the information on the technical side as well as the photo ban lifted,
Regards, Rod.
Richard Veal replied
Many thanks Rod.
The colour version was good, but decided on sepia for impact, so if you go there, then the settings above should be ok, although a bit noisy if doing a close up.
AndyReeve

I am a bit behind the times catching up with your work but this caught my eye. very nice treatment and I find it so helpful when people explain a bit about how they have processed images.
Richard Veal replied
Many thanks for that Peter.
Its a shame a lot more dont do the same.
I like to help wherever I can, and as this is a tourist attraction in the SW, I thought that it would help prospective visitors.
