Cobbles by Moonlight
A slight reworking of an old pic, uploaded by request for my good friend, Tony Hedger.
When I last had this on, Tony wrote a good story to accompany the shot, and if you have never read any of Tony’s story’s, you don’t know what you are missing.
To see the story Tony wrote for this shot, Click Here.
The picture is of Albert Street in Dawlish, which is the last Cobblestone street in the town.
Shot in colour, and converted to B&W, which gives it more character.
I hope that you like it.
Thanks for looking.

I think this is my favourite of all your work Richard, beautifully atmospheric, you can’t beat a dimly lit cobbled street, the figure gives it a sinister mood added to by the dim moon. Great work, old boy!!

The dimly lit figure is a friend of mine on her way home from a late shift, and I made her turn round and walk the other way so I could get this shot. LOL

I think this is excellent Richard!
The composition is wonderful – I really like the way that almost everything is “happening” in the bottom left hand quarter, the full moon balancing it out beautifully.
Really, really good.
