The St Germans viaduct in Cornwall, UK, which spans the Lynher River that flows 106 feet below.
The viaduct was built in the 1850’s, and the Lynher River is a tributary of the Tamar River.
Imagine how nice it would be you be able to sail your yacht under those magnificent arches.

I am pleased that you like my little part of the planet.
The viaduct is still used today, carrying trains to all over the country, and was built by an engineer called IK Brunel, a man who was very advanced in his skills.

absolutely stunning Richard, wonderful use of light and composition. Glad you stated it isn’t HDR as it was my first question…..however I think with good in-camera technique (shooting in raw/processing), and great light it’s possible to produce wonderful landscapes…....but then everyone pesumes it’s HDR!!

One of the joys of a Pentax, is that they have a great dynamic range, and I always shoot in RAW, and generally have my white balance set to cloudy or shade, and that helps a lot.
