The Castle

Richard Veal

The Castle

This is Corfe Castle, which lies between Wareham and Swanage, in Dorset.
The castle can be seen from far away, as it dominates the Purbeck Hills.
I decided to put on the B&W tinted version as the main picture, and below, you will see the colour version.

Both have been edited in CS3, just to make them a little different from the usual pics you see.

I hope you like it.
Thank you for looking.

The Castle belongs to the following groups:

i guess it really depends on what mood the viewer is in as to which hue is preferable. i like both versions for different reasons. the moody blue works for me.

  • Richard Veal replied

Many thanks JK, and for the fave also.
In situations like this, I like to put both versions on, instead of uploading the same pic twice, so that they can be seen together.

    Great work Richard!
I can’t make up my mind which version I prefer – I love the ‘glow’ of the colour version, but the toned mono has a moonlit quality….oh I dunno…they both get my vote! ;-)

  • Richard Veal replied

    Thank you Paul.
I didnt want to put up the same pic twice, so it was easier to do it like this, so people can see both versions at the same time.
