Or South West to be more precise.
Taken from Exmouth Seafront, the slim spit of land in front is Dawlish Warren, which, apart from being a National Nature Reserve, is also a very important spit of land that protects the River Exe estuary from flooding, and damage to the main rail line that connects Exeter, down to Penzance, Cornwall.
