Having put my back out a few days ago, its been hard for me to get round, so out come the Omax Close Up Lenses to do a bit of macro work.
The miniature Roses seemed to enjoy being outside for a while, in some warm Autumn sunshine and fresh air, and a quick shower of rain

At least it has given me a chance to play with my close up lenses.
They are miniature roses, and I think my lenses were a bargain off ebay, considering that the rose is a lot smaller than in the pic.

That is a lovely photo. The colours are wonderful, the detail on the water droplets perfect. It’s really soft.
After looking through your photos I think that when you allow yourself to be you are really creative. You are able to create a real sense of mood and atmosphere (which is missing in most of your macro flower photos – though present in this one!). And you should do more B&W!! I realise it’s probably time (I’m the same) – but I look forward to seeing more atmosphere. One other thing, for me personally, the clouding or vignetting doesn’t always work.. Looking at the boat/port photos reminded me of my summer hols in Devon this last year too! Thanks for looking at my photos too :)
