A few years ago now, I’ve seemed to have spent more time out of the country in the last ten years or so. Eg, I haven’t been to Newquay since about 1994 and I used to go there all the time, Can’t wait to get some time from work spend it re-discovering Cornwall mate.

Charlie Sawyer
Nicely seen and composed. You got great color and texture, and gave drama to the scene. And yes it’s a bollard –noun 1. Nautical. a. a thick, low post, usually of iron or steel, mounted on a wharf or the like, to which mooring lines from vessels are attached.
Richard Veal replied
Many thank Charlie.
Much appreciated.
Von McKnelly
Snap! Killer image and the angle is perfect!!
Richard Veal replied
Thanks Sir Von. Glad you like it.
You should let Sir Jerame know that I knighted you long before he was knighted, and that was by a queen he was knighted by, not a Regal King. :-))
Von McKnelly
Von…When it is used as a part of a German family name, it can indicate a member of the nobility
Sir….common usage usually reserved for one of superior rank or status.
Let sir Jerame beat that!!! LOL

nice image Richard..love the treatment. Long time no see…how’ve you been?
Richard Veal replied
Hi Ciaran. You havent left the planet then.
Just about everything has happened for the worse this past 6 months.
I finally got laid off work due to the Arthritis, been literally bedridden for the past 5 weeks due to a bad back, my father in law died back in October, and now, with no insurance paying my mortgage and no money coming in, looking bleaker by the minute.
Nothing to look forward to my friend.
Hope things are ok with you though.
Have a great Christmas and New Year my friend.
