Spiritual Reflections
Taken in St Grade Church, Ruan Minor, on the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall, that was built in the 14c.
The sunlight was streaming through one of the stained glass windows, and left this colourful reflection on the floor, and a lovely colourful glow around the inside of the window.
This was the first time we have visited the church in all the years we have holidayed in the area.
We will certainly be visiting the church again this year.

You can see this church from where I was staying, but never could find it in all the years I have been going there, but last week, struck lucky.

That is just wonderful. I love the level of detail on the window surround (plaster peeling), the hymn numbers, the reflection on the steps. It conveys a wonderful atmosphere, transporting the viewer in time and space..

Richard: Outstanding! My favorite part is the soft, but precise deatial of the warm steps. The Light in the upper R third provides anchorage to the composition as well as balance. The metaphor of light giving definiton and the absence giving void is powerful.
