Sea Sand and Shadows
Captured this on a stroll to the beach yesterday afternoon. The shadows on the beach from the fence on the train station caught my eye.
My main mission was to shoot the ‘Torbay Express’ Steam Train, which went through at such speed, I was not in a good position to get it, so wait till next week for that one.

I like this a lot Rich…great light and shadow. The lines created by the shadow are superb…..wonderful textures and the squiggle (thats a technical term you know) of the surf is excellent. First rate photography all round Rich!

The differeing lines from the varying shadows pull you eye all around the shot and the shoreline adds to it all too. So much going on in an image that “just” contains sea, sand and shadows. (How do you think up your titles! – p.s. where’s the sea – oh there it is)

I originally went down to try and capture and old Steam Train, but it thundered through, and when I saw the shadows on the beach, I couldn’t resist it.
