Kasey, my grandfather bought 200 acres just up the road from St. Malo in 1916 for $4.25 an acre. We still have 129 acres and I’m there much of every summer. I’ve never seen the stone chapel and Mount Meeker in such a sharp and dazzling depiction as yours is, though. See you at the Meadow Mountain cafe …

Do you know Allenspark? The Meadow Mountain cafe is down the road from the town as it winds toward Ferncliff. Best pancakes and veggie burgers and fruit smoothies in the Rockies – though I haven’t been there since it’s under new ownership. BTW, our property faces the Long’s Peak east face across the Tahosa Valley.
