Floats

The Last Look

Floats

I saw these propped up against the wall, on a riverside path just along from St Nicholas Church, West Looe, Cornwall.

These are used by Crab and Lobster fisherman to mark their pots out at sea.

Another sight that will soon be a thing of the past.

Taken specifically for the Last Look Project.

Thank you for looking.
Hope you like it.

These look like they have been used once or twice . Interesting shot Richard x

  • The Last Look replied

    Yes, they do Irene.
I think that they have just been placed there after unloading the catch, as the weed was still bright green.

    Thank you for your comment.
    Appreciated as always. x

They make a wonderful subject stacked together like this Richard, I can’t say I’ve seen them with flags on before but it makes a lot of sense and easier to spot, well seen and captured,
    Regards, Rod.

  • The Last Look replied

    Thanks Rod.
I suppose that they could rent them out to the local golf course. :-))
