Welcome to The Last Look.

This profile is a photo journalistic tour taking in the counties of Cornwall and the Scilly Isles, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset, and highlighting the decline of the fishing industry before it disappears forever from our shores through EC regulations, excess taxation, and diminishing fish stocks.

The Gallery
will be showing trawlers, small boats with handlines, nets, and a lobster pot or two, that can presently be seen in many of the small towns and villages from the area, possibly giving you, the viewer, a last look at this industry.
The occasional portrait, a brief historical narrative, and hopefully some information on places to eat, drink, and sleep will also be featured.

This is a working project, showing life as it is, so please accept the photos for what they are.
