This is why we like autumn! So gorgeous, Kim. Your composition is sooooo alluring and totally draws the eye in. I think your fall colors are further along than ours but it was very chilly today so those leaves will start to turn now. Instant fave, hope your weekend is going well
Yes, our colors are almost all past peak, and after this weekend, a lot of the color is now on the ground! We had such a great time at Karen’s boss’ property Saturday – they have something called “The Fall Gathering” – potluck, games, hayrides, and trails for 4-wheelers and dune buggy. I drove a 4-wheeler out to get this shot – Note to self: Buy a 4-wheeler !!!! Was so much fun and afforded such a lovely view.
I’m told there are trails from this area of Minnesota all the way to the North Shore of Lake Superior – now that would be a trip!!!

Thanks so much Lissy!! Our colors won’t be around for long – no rain for weeks and weeks, so everything is very dry and the leaves are just blowing off now… Still, I’m glad I got out for this one!!!
