    Im a tree hugger Kim but Im not this beautiful! Wow this is really awesome work and image! Love love the background!

  • Thank you so much Tina!! I love these guys… and the little Harry woodpeckers too. My background was a nice soft gray which, I am learning, just LOVES textures!! lol I also tried a new ‘work flow’ with this image… concentrating completely on the image first with adjustments, toning, and such, and THEN blending in the layers… much cleaner process – and quite effective here at least!!
    Many thanks, dear friend!! xx ~ Kim

    Beautifully done, Kim…the photo of that terrific Woodpecker is tack sharp and your processing only enhances it. I’m sure you are proud of this as you should be…

  • Thank you so much Kat! If I am being honest… yes, my personal feathers puffed up a bit as I finished this one…. not so much an ego thing, but I was so pleased about the process I used and that it gave me exactly what I wanted… It is quite a learning thing – these programs and blending, sharpening and de-noise…. hours of work starting to come together! : }
    Many thanks my friend!! xx – Have a great week!!
