Psalm of a Wounded Soul
by Jocelyn Soriano
“O wounded soul
who can understand thee…
Who can bear with thy sorrow
and who can fathom thy tears
who can plunge into your darkness
and bring some light therein
where light has been forgotten
where warmth is nowhere
and no sympathy is afforded thee”

Eerie atmosphere… excellent work Kim !!!
( don’t be so sad !)

Thank you Dominique. I am not so sad now… creating this actually helped and I knew I would find some understanding from the group here… but the image is also about the progression TO becoming a wounded soul… we start out so eager, innocent, curious… and we get hurt. And over time, we turn away and close the windows to our soul…. personally, I am not that wouned, but I understand it….

Wow you are really good at this, I wish I could some this elaborate. Don’t know how you all do this in photoshop.
Thank you so much Charlene. It takes time and trial to learn it, but it is not hard. It involves layer masks and blending. This was actually one of my early works. There are great tutorials on line for learning this. If you’d like more info, send me a bubble mail!!
Thank you again for the look and kind words!!! ~kim
