….So I am experimenting with some blending. I saw this done by an artist on Society6 – he does mostly male celebrities in military uniforms, and offers to put ‘your face’ in there too…. I just wanted to see if I could do this sort of work, and I am have SO MUCH FUN!!!! I hope some people like it….. It really is an exercise in blending technique, touch, and perspective.

Thanks for looking! ~ Kim

    Kim ~ This is so beautiful!!! What a great technique to learn!! And the end result is so silken smooth ~ I would love to learn how to do this….

  • Thanks so much Sharon!! It’s great fun and just uses all the blending I have learned from flowers and such…. and the “silken smooth” look comes from Nik Color efex software. If you work with faces, it’s a must for the soft, glowing skin look! : }
    Do you have Photoshop? or Lightroom? I could send you a bubblemail if you’d like. Or just search for photoshop tutorials on line and then PLAY!!!
    Thank you again, I am so happy you like it!!! xx

    You’re so full of ideas Kim – this has worked well.

  • Thank you Jan… can’t take credit for the original idea, as I saw this done with men and paintings of military leaders, but I did put my own spin on it. Glad you like it!
