That is just sensational… Wow, all that plumage and, to think, it’s courtesy of Mother Nature…. such a gorgeous creature.. I like egrets and this is one of the best photos I have seen….beautifully photographed also, Kathy, and it’s always interesting to see the change of color to green at the base of the eyes to the bill, isn’t it? We have a couple on our pond that fly here from breeding on a spit on Lake Ontario; however, this season they have both been very elusive..and they aren’t here for too long as they will depart soon as the temps drop..
