Symbol or Distraction?
After I posted my Angel image, several people commented on it (both on- and offline), and then a friend pointed out that it’d be better if the flattened water bottle wasn’t lying there. Not until then did I realize that I liked that trash in the shot.
It’s when we find ourselves among the mundane (parking lot) and ugly (trash)...

I’m about to purchase a domain name for my photography website, and I’m just STUMPED about what to choose.
My bubblesite is currently called KB Art Photography, but I’m very open to changing the site name when I choose a domain name; I just don’t like www.kbartphoto.com—it doesn’t roll off the tongue…
Trying to cut my own mat and having a heckuva time!
I should have thought of asking this of my co-Bubblers before!
Do any of you cut your own mats (and can you recommend answers to these mat-cutting questions)? I was told by a friend that “it’s EASY!” to cut your own mat and saves LOTS of money. I have a mat cutter (this nice metal deal that angles the blade as you pull it along against a straight edge—I think there’s other kinds, but …
