Symbol or Distraction?

Posted about 1 month ago

After I posted my Angel image, several people commented on it (both on- and offline), and then a friend pointed out that it’d be better if the flattened water bottle wasn’t lying there. Not until then did I realize that I liked that trash in the shot.

It’s when we find ourselves among the mundane (parking lot) and ugly (trash)...

Please help me with your creativity!

Posted about 1 month ago

I’m about to purchase a domain name for my photography website, and I’m just STUMPED about what to choose.

My bubblesite is currently called KB Art Photography, but I’m very open to changing the site name when I choose a domain name; I just don’t like www.kbartphoto.com—it doesn’t roll off the tongue…

Trying to cut my own mat and having a heckuva time!

Posted about 1 month ago

I should have thought of asking this of my co-Bubblers before!

And thanks to all t…

Critique Humbly Requested

Posted 2 months ago

Any of you got time to critique something for me? I shot this image Saturday, and while there’s something that grabs me, I can’t quite make it fly.

If you’d like to offer some feedback, follow this link to Palm House critique and fire away! I’d surely appreciate it!

Despair . . . and Vindication

Posted 2 months ago

I’m sure I’m the only one here on RB who gets caught up in the attention my work receives.

As a matter of fact, I think I’ll attend the local meeting of Bubblers-Anonymous (there’s thousands around the globe) because my problem is getting out of hand. Maybe difficult for most to understand, but you see, as a B.A. (not what you did in the Dean’s window during pledge week), I can be normal …
