Dusty Lake by KazM

Available to buy on…

An early morning shot of a Jetty on Lake Macquarie during recent dust storm.
Photo taken at Bolton Point NSW at 8am with Sony Cybershot 4.1 (as taken). What if due to climate change this becomes the norm rather than the exception?

How miserable would our days be?
How would it impact on Flora & Fauna?
How would we get enough sunlight to stay healthy & grow food?

Usually you can see far but on this day the end of the jetty was a bit of a strain. Are we going to have to get used to this sort of event?

I love the contrast between the cleanness of the water and the dustiness of the wind. You should be able to see at least 50 boats but seeing any is hard work.

The Moody & Evocative group honoured this work by featuring it. The Honour is much appreciated.

That dust storm has been quite an inspiration (something good from something not so good). Wonderful capture. I hope the clean up isn’t too difficult.

  • I was lucky. Only my bathroom & car needed serious cleaning. Driving was the main problem.
    Thanks for your insightful comments
