A wonderful visitor to a High Street.

This Kookaburra on the street sign had the good taste to pick a street with an elevated title.
One of the 50 best known birds of Australia.

Taken with my Sony Cybershot 4.1 pocket camera
As taken whilst walking around the neighbourhood.

So appreciate the honour of being featured in the Students & Beginners Group.

What a wonderful shot! Great bird…his cousin, the Belted Kingfisher moved in to the neighborhood here just last week!

  • There were kookaburras in the area years ago then the noisy minors chased them away. It is nice to see them back in the area.
    Thanks for the encouragement

You capture Aussie urban really uniquely. I’d kill for a shot like this.

  • Carrying a camera all the time and taking lots of pictures as you are walking towards a creature like thisis the trick. A bit of luck helps.
    Thanks for your positive comment
