This is what I call a sand drawing as it looks like grains of sand swept into a pattern. Since being on RB I have found this style is called pointilism (many more than 50 dots used). The contrast of the B&W creates a shading of greys.
I never start out with a final shape in mind, they grow organically.
At first I just place patterns of dots but when this was nearly finished I thought it looked like a jester sitting awaiting his opportunity to entertain the court. Jesters were storytellers, makers of magic but mythically they often played the fool whilst creating intrigues. One might say Michael Jackson was a modern day jester. There to entertain but never to feel he belonged.
