Bird Breakfast
Taken near Glenbawn Dam late last year with our digital camera.
The white cockatoos were flying in from all around to get their breakfast.

I agree with Hilary, very peaceful scene I especially love the one going into land with feathers splayed, looks like a peace dove. Beautiful Kaz

Thanks Tainia, I was lucky to come on them when they were so busy. Have you seen many cockatoos since you came to Australia. They are very noisy and can be fun to watch

Thanks for your reply Kaz I have been fortunate to see many living in the bush, I also breed & handrear companion parrots of many different types, something I never could have done in the uk – truly blessed. Did you see lasts nights Australian Parrots on the ABC? It was fantastic!!
Lovely of you to comment, very grateful, thanks, Tai

It is one of our park areas near a man-made dam and it was a very enjoyable place to spend a weekend. The cocatoos are fairly common and very noisy but can be spectacular
