I bought my first digital camera for an overseas trip back in 2005 and it’s been onwards and upwards since then!

I love all forms of art, but photography has become somewhat of an addiction! I’m determined to take some drawing and painting lessons in the not too distant future, and am also hoping to improve my Photoshop skills and perhaps undertake some extra study of some kind that relates to photography.

I’m particularly drawn to nature and think I’ve found my niche photographing flowers and the like… I’m also drawn to bright colours and things that are generally happy and positive, as well as a touch quirky and different.

My favourite place to wander is through the Botanic Gardens here in Melbourne ~ every visit seems to be so very different due to the seasons (sometimes all in one day!) I like finding the beauty in the ‘every day’ and representing the ‘ordinary’ in a ‘extraordinary’ way.

Photography will be a life-long journey for me!
