They just can’t pass each other without a little jab. We live in the Bridger Mountain foothills and there is a herd of mule deer that travels the area in the winter. In the summer, they go up higher in the mountains, but in the snow, they are eating lawns, trees and shrubs. Some people call them the Huns, the Terrorists, the Hooligans. I call them the Bambis. They are just off my deck in the backyard. If I step ouside, they walk away. I can jump, clap and yell and have the dog bark inside and they ignore me.

Or, Now if you pull that end through that loop, & if I move my head thus, we should be able to undo that pesky knot…. Wonderful shot, Kay!

  • Thanks Sheila, They weren’t very serious, the one on the left was the obvious boss.

This is so beautiful the way you captured. It gives me the message we are in their land just visiting.

  • Yes, they certainly know these hills as their home.
