At my grandparents’ homestead, the cottonwood trees are giants. One branch splits and we used to climb it as kids. Even one of the border collies climbed it to chase raccoons. I’m happy just to photograph it now. The mare and colt were resting in the creek pasture. I just had a second to shoot them as their oats were being served up at the barn. In a dash they were gone.
The day was sunny bright so I used the sun glints as moon glow when I added the moon from my mountain. Layers
