Church in Bannack, Montana by Kay Kempton Raade

Photographic Prints

Available to buy on…

Bannack is a ghost town from the Gold Rush era and a state park. It was the first territorial capital of Montana. It is off the beaten path, but has good roads when you know where to go.

Gold was discovered on Grasshopper Creek. here

It was fifty years between my visits to Bannack, but I’ll never forget sitting on the dusty street sketching the Court House.

    Awesome post work,..

  • Thanks, John. I think I should post in the description that it is two grunge layers and dodging and burning!! I let it sit for a day and went at it again lightening some parts today.

I love the window above the church doors.
