Style: ‘Pieces Art™’ for its many pieces and segments that fit together as one work of art.
It took me a day to draw and color this piece, in cool temperature colors, by use of the only medium available to me at the time: ballpoint pen, washable markers, colored pencils, and paper.
I call the displaying of my art, in different versions, a ‘Realm’, for in different realms, things are itself but exist in a different way. Also, one whole thing can be made up of many realms and layers.
‘Intended Lavender’ is the second realm (of 5 realms) of the Original ‘Alight with Blossom’. This piece was minutely enhanced as a slightly better portrayal of the vision from my imagination (as a result of the limitations of the physical mediums I had on hand). It is closer to how I intended the piece to look with more of a lavender tone and glow.
The vision for ‘Alight with Blossom’ was very simple and clean: Just a girl or young lady, a purple being, alight and aglow when, by chance, she comes across a quietly loud silence and elegant stillness of a beautiful Blossom Tree having the likeness of a cherry blossom tree from Earth. She is lost in wonder.
This piece is intended to evoke serenity, as did the vision in my imagination. I hope you enjoy looking through one of the small windows that allow a glimpse at the story and world of this piece.
