Style: ‘Pieces Art™’ for its many pieces and segments that fit together as one work of art.
This is the Blueprint of this piece; the foundation of the artwork before it is colored. I wanted to publish the Blueprints because I think they have a life of their own, and are sometimes almost completely different from its finished state. I appreciate both the colored and uncolored versions. Sometimes I like the colored version better because it is brought to its full animation and complete vision. Sometimes I liked it better before it was colored, when the picture was more hidden to be found, rather than spoken word for word—too literal to be inspiring and interpreted.
In addition, I just think it is neat to see the before and after, to admire all the layers and steps that build a piece.
Originally done in black ink, I tint all the Blueprints blue, to fit their name and representation of being the physical foundation of every piece.
