Second shoot reflections

It has taken me almost a year, but I have done my second shoot – this time with a 4 month old baby. Again I loved the experience and this time it was with a couple who I am friend’s with and their baby boy. I am back at home this month with my Mum, Dad and brother after a crazy year in Asia. A few photographers I have met have talked about ow they have photographed every inch of a place when they are away and always mean to take more of their family. When you are away from them and have only a few photos in “My Pictures”, you sometimes wonder why you havent taken loads and framed them.…

My first family photo shoot

I bit the bullet and arranged a shoot with a family who had replied to a post on RB. Since my foundation course at the Bangkok Photo School, I have realised that even though I like to dabble in all different genres, child portraits is something that I really want to pursue and perfect.

As a teacher aswell, I have always been taught through my training that a good teacher is a reflective teacher …

Sometimes I wish I was a beefy 6ft 7 bloke!

I have had a fascination in derelict buildings and graffiti for a while now ever since I saw Manny Librido workshop photos. He photographs models in derelict buildings using shafts of natural light. I thought they were aamzing so I thought I would give it a go.

I had been told not to go on my own because anybody could be sleeping/drinking etc…in there. But as I couldn’t find anyone…
