Introducing Scoop Neck Tees and Unisex Tanks — FIND OUT MORE

Part of our trip to Birdsville last week when we were going to cross the Simpson Desert via the Rig Road took us past some special historical ruins. These were the Mulka Ruins and the site of a general store where an ex policeman had taken over a pastoral lease in 1923 and then set up the store as well to assist travellers travelling the Birdsville Track. He died in the early 1940’s and his wife remained there for another 10 years in that desolate dry land.

Remarkable pioneering spirits.
