An extremely colorful flower — wish I could be more specific
Canon 5D Mark II
flower, macro, color, bloom
Great work. How did you process it ?
Thanks for the interest, French. I upped the “vibracity” (which is similar to saturation), but that’s about it. I don’t think it’s even cropped. The image was made with the use of a close-up lens (Canon 250D) attached to a macro lens (Canon EF 2.8 100mm macro) on a Canon 5D Mark II body. When shooting wide-open with the close-up lens, it gives a surreal, soft look (something more than normal bokeh) to whatever’s not in focus. I think that’s what makes this shot look a little more processed than it really is. Cheers!

It’s a beautiful blur
Beautiful colors………purrfect dof !
Gorgeous color and movement – love the way you focused!
Wow, that colour is certainly something to behold! I’m not great with names of flowers, but these might be freesias?
Alstroemeria is the flower – the defining moments are the leaves and the little puckery bit at the tip of each flower. This is a beautiful image and thanks for sharing your technique!
Oh this is gorgeous!!
