Kirribilli, Sydney, NSW, Australia

1st December marks World Aids Day and to help raise awareness of this disease Sydney does what she does best…. Puts on a show…

Last year both the Bridge and Opera House lit up the Sydney skyline in a delicate shade of red, this year the Opera House still lit up, but it was the pylons only that lit up on the Bridge and it wasn’t Bono from U2 flicking the switch… It was Elton John’s turn to do the honours…

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful image Sharon!!! Love it….. It is absolutely a gorgeous picture with beautiful lighting and depth to it. And the fact that Sir Elton John turned the switch on this year, to me that makes it more special (ok – don’t get any funny ideas there…. LOL…. it is just I am a piano player and I love his music and his style of playing; I could play almost 50% of his material… and one of my favorite albums of all times is the one he recorded with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra a few years back….. anyway…… thought I should clarify…. lol……). Wonderful shot Sharon.

  • Hahahaha, thanx so much for that laugh mate!!! I needed that (busy day)…
Big Elton fan myself (can’t play the piano but sing along to his songs (not very well either))….
Glad you like the image too and thanx for the fave :o)
