This one is just a whole lot of fun really (so sorry if it’s not your cup of tea)..
Went out last night to the Devils Cauldron on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, to get the moonrise with Jimmy , well young Jimmy had forgotten to bring his cable release so towards the end of the shoot was becoming “creative”.
Now this is the first time that I’ve ever done any light painting, and let me tell you I am still laughing today about this shot. Like the last time I was at the Cauldron, it was a hell of a lot of fun!!!!!

LOL !!!! It sure looks like fun :-) I dread thinking about his creativity if he’d forget ALL his gear ! Watch out, Sharon :-)))))) xx

And he was bloody wishing again for more water in the foreground!!! Would have thought he would have learnt the first time!!!

hahaha! Real worry the result of just leaving a cable release – can only guess about what would happen without a tripod!!!! lol. Great image.

It looks like the light bulb head people are more then pleased with the sun! Excited even.
Good fun indeed. I’ve done a little with a red laser pen
You must have used a Neutral Density Filter for this right?

  • Hahaha!!! Nope no filter used James. This was the moon last night so not as harsh as a sunrise would be. It was a 3 minute exposure F8, ISO-500..
Luved your laser pen work… May have to try that out next :o)
